Description
Russia isn’t the only country that loads steel-cased 7.62×39 ammunition. Bulgaria is also in on that action, as you will see by this fine ammo by Arsenal JSCo. Global Ordnance of Florida imported these range loads and packaged them up for your shooting pleasure!
If you’re familiar with Russian-made ammo, then you already know what to expect from these rounds from Bulgaria. Each cartridge is loaded with a 122 grain bimetal jacketed bullet: lead core, soft steel jacket with a thin copper-washed exterior. A bimetal jacketed bullet will not harm your Kalashnikov’s barrel, but it will attract a magnet!
Similarities to Russian products aside, Bulgaria’s steel-cased ammo is higher-quality. This ammo is loaded according to more exacting tolerances than Wolf or Tula, and its sealed necks and primers speak to its greater longevity in storage and durability out in the field!
Steel cases are the hallmark of budget-friendly ammunition. This ammo’s affordable because it contains virtually zero copper, but the main trade-off is that steel cases cannot be reloaded. You don’t have to worry about corrosion, however, as this new production ammo’s Berdan primers are completely non-corrosive.
